We are taking it a step further, by transparently showing our customers where our ingredients come from.
TRADE NOT AID
We collaborate with the women of Essan by sourcing our main ingredients, including Shea Butter, from their community in an ethical and sustainable manner, providing the infrastructure needed to ensure quality, and the training that will help them progress.
We believe that education is the key to empowerment. When we educate a woman, we educate a family, a community, a nation, a generation!
We are building a factory to ultimately employ up to 70 rural women, creating employment and empowerment.
It is about making sure that the traditions and ancestry that are rooted in this community live on through our products. It also ensures that our Tribers are part of our journey.
